Luna Loungewear by Love Notions

First things first, I am really happy to have been recently added to the Love Notions Promotion team- this means that I am compensated a nominal amount for the patterns I test, and I am now an affiliate and will receive a small percentage from pattern sales that result from clicks from here. I will always note affiliate links, and you can read more about the Love Notions affiliate program here. My reviews will continue to be completely honest, transparent, and hopefully helpful.

I have been telling myself for months that my comfy lounging wardrobe needs a refresh- I have a few pairs of pajamas that I change out seasonally, but all have basically been worn to death. It’s hard to prioritize lounging clothes when I only wear them for a short period each day. I work outside of the house (business casual), and go out a lot on the weekends (public casual), so loungewear, for me, is a small but important portion of my wardrobe. My requirements for loungewear are 1) decent level of bra-support without being overly constrictive (I do light exercise in the evenings and these were fine for planks, squats, and lunges) 2) lightweight pants or shorts because it gets mega-hot upstairs in my sewing room 3) not-terrible looking for when Church people come knocking on my door for unannounced visits. The Luna set hits all the right notes for me!

I felt comfortable enough in this to walk through my neighborhood to get to the ravine to take pictures, and then slept in it that night. It’s a win for me!

This ravine is less than a block from my house- I was hoping for some shady sunrise pictures, but the walls are pretty steep and I lost my light quickly. In case you’re ever wondering, almost anywhere can be a pretty spot for pictures.

Of COURSE I used my Piccadilly Disco girls and stripes! Except I am running out, so I used solid black for the back and bindings. These pockets are perfection.

Always, always greet the sun like a lover’s kiss. By the way, I’m not wearing anything except the built-in cami here. Pretty good, yes?

Tip for tripod selfies – it’s hard to get the focus right if you don’t stand in the exact same spot- you’ll notice that in all of these I’m standing on a rusty metal scrap sheet. I used it to mark my spot to help keep things consistent.

Super, duper comfy.
